Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, country-pop musician and songwriter after she appeared on the television show One Tree Hill. She was Alex for the duration of three of the final four seasons. Jana Kramer's first country releases were included in episodes of the show, helping to propel her debut album in 2012 to in the Top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One, her follow-up album, released in 2015, climbed the Top Ten. Her decade was rounded out with appearances for Dancing with the Stars. The self-doubting Voices saw release in 2021. Growing up within Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was raised on country music. Later, she would be pursuing a recording career. However, she made her debut as a performer, who made her screen debut on the screen in the 2002 independent horror film Dead/Undead as she was in her teen years. Kramer was a guest on episodes for All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer went to appear as Portia Ranson on 90210 2008-2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 prior to joining the ensemble of the show on the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009 where she was on the show until the finale season in 2012. Kramer was signed a contract with Elektra Records, and she introduced her new contemporary country tune I Won't give Up during the One Tree Hill 2011 episode. The track was later featured on her debut album in the middle of 2012. Billboard Top Country Albums ranked the track in the Top Five. In the following years Kramer made a career of acting performing in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 as well as Country Crush 2016, which was a hit with her fans. Kramer has released her sophomore album Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. The album was helped by the Top Five country song I Got the Boy and also as a duet performed with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album peaked at third place in the Billboard 200 country charts and top 10 on the Billboard 200. The two-month stint on Dancing with the Stars 23rd edition ended with her finishing 4th. The singer also had a hit for adult contemporary with the song Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
