Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr. who was a tool and die manufacturer, who employed as a laborer for the manufacturing firm. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her 3 siblings. Stone was considered to be exceptionally gifted in her academics when she entered the second grades at five. In 1975 she was a graduate of Saegertown high school located in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). She was also a contestant for Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, and was crowned Miss Crawford County. Stone was moved into New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt, to pursue a career as models. In less than a month she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. The next stage was Europe which she was to spend a year living with her aunt in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone however became disillusioned in Europe in the modeling industry, and decided to venture to acting. She was 20 when she appeared in the Woody Allen film "Stardust Memories," that received mixed praises.
